The Self-Help Legal Resource Center in Berrien County is designed to make information and forms more readily available to those who wish to represent themselves in court proceedings.

Eastern Michigan University Legal Resource Center

The Legal Resource Center is a legal self-help center serving Washtenaw County. Staff at the Legal Resource Center will direct people to and help them fill out the appropriate forms for such civil matters. In addition, the staff will provide information on various legal procedures for navigating the court system.  To be sure the office will be open when you visit, please call ahead to check.

The Gratiot Self-Help Center has two locations, one in the Alma Public Libary (500 E Superior St, Alma, MI 48801) and one in the Thompson Home Public Library (125 W Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). Residents from any nearby county are welcome to come use the computers and high-speed internet connection to access the tools and resources on MichiganLegalHelp.org.
